Art Class

Students are midway through their grid drawings, which is a technique where a photo is broken into one inch squares to use as a guide to create an enlarged drawing. They are focusing on drawing accurate proportions and replicating a variation of value.

 

Photography

Students have been traveling around the school capturing photos of certain elements and principles of design while considering compositional guidelines. They are now editing their photos and writing a short reflection on each photo describing how they took it and what they hoped to capture. Students are welcome to take photos at home for this assignment as well.
